What triggered my entrepreneur spirit other than wanting to add new life experiences?
It was the journey of setting up the “Internal Communication Agency” a centre of competence for creating communications, branding and graphic design services, for global customers across businesses and brands within the Atlas Copco Group. Had an amazing opportunity to learn from my team mates and colleagues, how passion can add life to dreams, and what it takes to start things from scratch. They helped me develop the spirit to restart after a failure.
Early in the career, had the experience of setting up a consumer research lab for Philips Domestic Appliances business in India. A strong foundation of understanding and using the consumer insights in business was laid. Learnt the art of listening observing the people around.
Had enriching experience of launching new product category in India for Philips Domestic Appliances, creating new business. Learnt from my stakeholders how to take initiatives, deal with risks and challenge the status quo.
Had the opportunity to introduce strategic marketing communications for the Mining and Construction business of Atlas Copco in India. Colleagues and peers facilitated the business understanding. This equipped me to drive and deliver the agenda, and win the conviction of cross functional teams.
Gathered sixteen years of corporate experience, with nine years in B2B business model in Atlas Copco, and seven years in B2C business model, in Philips Electronics India.
Experienced the complete cycle, from consumer insights, leading into market analysis, creating business plans, creating marketing and communication strategies to support business objectives, and achieving business goals.
Am a fitness enthusiast. A trained yoga and pranayama teacher. I continue to learn by exploring different fitness regimes.
